The European Pressure Die Casting Committee, a non-profiting-making body, was first set up in 1953 and has been operating under rules defined and agreed in 1953, adopted at the EPDCC-meeting in September 1975.
 
The aims of the EPDCC are to
 
further cooperation between die casters in Europe by encouraging the exchange of technical information
   
undertaking joint promotional work
   
exchanging works visits
   
and in any other way agreed by the members.
